Why is it so tough to love ?

The sudden spirit of embracing revolution by the youths of the nation has somewhat created a chaos.

Our country too felt the warmth of public protest from Egypt, Tunisia and Bahrain. All of a sudden everyone wanted to do something for the nation without knowing the other aspects and this urge to do “something” turned into a nation.

What we all were witnessing on social media was disgusting and pathetic. Be it the Times of India’s face book page or Growing India or any other pro development nationalist page, they all were full of hate comments and abusive languages for a particular minority community. The most shocking part being the fact that there were no arguments and discussions except the commonly repeated shouts of “kill them” “throw them out” , ”they are traitors” and “we want Narendra Modi as PM”.

There is lot to be thought. We are an educated young nation and it is so creep to see the budding generation being so illogical and dumb.

I brought a right winged(read as nationalist) Hindi newspaper along with the Sunday guardian yesterday. Luckily this newspaper PANCHJANY does not have a mass following as it’s all the articles were provocative enough to stir a national problem. It bluntly addressed the Hindus to rise against Muslims in a revolutionary tone. It is sad that these hate materials are publically available.

The problem is simple

àThe majority does not trust the minority community and doubt their patriotism. With allegations of disunity and terrorism.

A still with a young boy wearing a skull cap doing harm to Amar Jyoti Jawan in Mumbai went viral on internet. The incidence should be criticized sharply and the culprits must be punished.

But the fact that the damaged Amar Jyoti was of a Muslim freedom fighter Syed Hameed was not aired.

àThe minority community thinks the government and administration are against them and they are being continuously oppressed. Despite the fact that the Muslims in India are safe and happy with equal opportunities though they deserve something more than safety.

The reality is simpler

àWe have bigger problems of corruption and economic slowdown to ponder around. We all face a threat from Pakistan and China through proxies in the form of national safety.

The solution is simplest

àLove each other, trust each other. Avoid rumors. Ignore a few things. Think a bit. Look for the bigger objective and accept the fact that we all are sons of the same soil and every individual is sacred.

Respect.Love.Unite

Petrol Hike-A Healthy move by the government..!

Do you know that the Indian government was running an undercover observe and analyze campaign for the degrading health quotient of the nation?

Yes, it is true. The statics reveal that the number of obese persons, lethargic youngsters, and strolling crowd is continuously increasing across the country.

Deeply moved by this revelation the government appointed a clandestine committee to carve out a health police for the nation. With most of the members themselves being spice and junk lovers, it was decided to change the paradigm and bring up a lateral policy for an active and healthy nation. It went like this-“Hike up the petrol prices by Rs 7.5”.

Now people may avoid taking vehicles for short distances. Buying a bicycle for local commutation is also a nice idea and after all the best exercise is walking. A walk with the beloved to the neighborhood ice cream vendor is definitely more romantic than an after dinner ice cream drive to India gate.
Hope to see more fit and energetic crowd and the pedal power to revive with cyclers taking rounds as we all witnessed the impact of cyclic yatras taken by Our CM Akhilesh Bhaiya.Yes,It brings you back to power.

Go Green

The Vanished goons and the guns...!

Hooliganism was once synonymous with elections in UP, it was all about
sparkling white-clad politicians with Ray Ban aviators waving their hand in open jeeps,
musclemen carrying weapons(though the country made pistols
were the real arsenal) and a convoy of SUVs with a huge company of zindabaad chanting supporters plying around the town.

But things changed as the assembly election of 2012 witnessed a new dawn of hope with all the illegal activities of capturing of booths, rural hegemony, threatening of weaker sections and the distribution of low quality liquor taking a backseat.

Fearless people of all the ages include a large number of youth came out to vote,as the nation
witnessed a major democratic awakening on its most important political turf.

All praise and gratitude for the brazen stalwart Mr. S Y Qureshi, the Chief election commissioner of India,
his worthy commander Mr. Umesh Sinha,Chief Election officer UP and their entire team
for facilitating a fair democratic process along with the online portal for voting slips and organizing various awareness campaigns.

SACRIFICE...!!

Human history is not only a story of rise and fall of glorious civilization,.achievement, and progressive social evolution,it is also a story of human sufferings and tragedies, sacrifices and ruthless suppressions.
The concept of martyrdom which is the transfusion of blood in the body of the society, has arisen due to these tragedies and sacrifices.

In Muslim history the essential moral message is conveyed most effectively by the martyrdom of Husain ibn Ali, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH)and his comrades in battlefield of Karbala(Iraq) some 1400 years ago.It is a peculiarity of his martyrdom that it has converted military into a moral success and spiritual victory.

By the time Husain ibn Ali assumed the supreme leadership of the group formerly led by his grandfather Holy Prophet, the power has been transferred in the hand of unjust Bani Ummayad dynasty which has opposed the peaceful message of Islam in the lifetime of Holy Prophet.

Callous Yazid had absolute power on each and every individual of his empire. He did force people to swear allegiances to him.

Opposed to his injustice and racial, tribal and dynastic imperialism stood a small but resolute group of people led by Husain ibn Ali.

In these circumstances,Husain's personality was supreme not only because he was Prophet's grandson ad son of
Fatima Zehra and Ali, but more so because he stood for human and moral values of Islam, opposed to the exploitation and oppression of under privileged and poor

To remind the people of these human values, Husain with his 71 companions and family died thirsty for three days, fighting injustice in the battlefield of Karbala, giving a strong voice to the poor and oppressed class, which is still echoing in this world.

Every year Muharram is observed across the globe by mourning to commemorate his martyrdom.

Why do i need to prove??

Every pulsating India Pakistan match ends up in exuberance and elation with our triumph most of the times, but the uncanny public discussion after that makes me restless.

It's easy to accept that raw fish tastes good but it's tough to comprehend the doubt on the patriotism of a chap born on the same mother soil.

Having being nurtured in this great motherland of ethics and values, the love for it is so natural and effortless.

After being appalled by collective echoes of profanities for a particular community in night, the 6:00 am tea turned bitter for me when three uniform clad respected soldiers, conveyed their thoughts full of prejudices after reading the headlines of a Hindi daily.

How can someone be so foolish to falsely blame that the Muslim community would have been happy at India's loss??

I wanted to say that patriotism is in our genes,we are the son of the same soil and a thoroughbred as much as they are.
But the hatred in their eyes flunked me to speak, and even to have the third sip of my tea.I moved from that place with the hope that their stagnated thoughts will inshallah change one day.

The question still haunts me. Do i really need to wear my patriotism on the sleeves.
No,not at all.

There has been enough of alienation,I am an integral part of my nation, let them hate as long as they fear.

But in the end it hurts.

SUFIYANA......!!

One of the few lucky wee hours witnessed by me till date..I kicked off my bed full of placid spirit with the Saturday Crest relaxing on the floor starring and waiting for its candor kiss as i lost my propensity for the morning aromatic tea.

The thought of my very own existence swiftly took me to the ecstatic world....My body to be my soul,my soul to be my body.

No i was not enlightened...nothing divine, but i felt like resting beside kausar(the heavenly lake) with zephyr blowing through my hairs due to the whirling of dervishes on the Turkish music.

The dancers were not the virgins from heaven but the samaa(sufi scene) was nothing less than what it is at Rumi's tomb at Istanbul.

I opened my left eye slightly to confirm that it was a reality as the the moist old painted roof aberrated with myriads of contours and textures clearly representing my world full of love, mysticism and tranquility.

My eyes averred as my action plans developed a freemasonry with this mystic realization.

My stint as a human was granted its due as the few selfish thoughts were kicked off as they tried to ruse in.

My soul rested in peace, though i was alive revering the first morning thought.....

Khuda ke aashiq to hai'n hazaro'n
bano'n me phirte hain maare maare..
Mai uska banda banoonga jisko...
Khuda ke bando'n se pyaar hogaa...!!

Why Can't we respect BAPU..??

Some questions have no answers...correct? yes.

Nobody can be insisted to respect a legend.....correct? Yes,after all its a democracy.

Some self denying lampoons are always ready to abuse and criticise...correct? Yes,nobody needs a proof.

Some truths can't be established even if pushed by cogent rationalism..correct? NO..lets give it a chance.

A few shots of discussions on our Father of nation

Scene1:

Six future engineers chaffering uder the hazy ghaziabad sky.

Traditionally it started with movies, girls, career and then the waves of patriotism hit the walls of ribs arousing the names of freedom fighters.

Gandhji's name is popped out

Mr A- "India would have been free much before,if he wished."
Mr B- "He was responsible for the capital punishment of Bhagat singh."
Mr C- (with a C class exclamation literally)- "ayyash tha budhaa...!!"

Scene 2:

Three chaps on a bench trying to fight the kumbhkaran hours outside the emergency entry of AIIMS and a policeman sitting on a stretcher smoking bidi in NO smoking zone.

Chap 1- "I dont know who made him the father of nation."
Chap 2- "I even doubt his character."
Policeman(In a typical haryanwi accent)- "I heard his name and lost blood equal to a standard peg of wine."

The cop quits as he sees a bike with tripling.May be the illegal bucks he gets can be used to makeover the lost blood.A bottle of country wine costs less than Rs 100 i guess.

Be it a bench of activists on small town chai shop or brats sipping Irish coffee at premium coffee shops,Gandhiji's name at all the places is synonomous with abuses, lots of blames and creep perception..

Now lets not blame RSS and bhagwa brigades only for gradually instilling this ideology in the society to justify the heinous crime of Nathuraam Godse(a swam sewak).

What about the responsibility of enlightened citizens to explore and come up with opinions?.

Isn't every abuse on BAPU assaulting the dignity of every indian?

Isn't the acquiescence on these senseless talks absurd??
Okies....Whatever.....Nobody cares what he was....RIGHT..??

Unlike chinese,we Indians are blessed with the freedom of expression....lets not exploit it...!!

Lets not abuse,if we can't respect this revered personality..!!
Pass it on..

Incredible india.... Jai hind..!! Gandhi ji amar rahen!!
